Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Second Opinion, an independent prediction-market analytics tool. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Second Opinion (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
2. What the Service is
Second Opinion is a prediction-market analytics tool. We ingest publicly available market data from venues such as Polymarket and Kalshi, combine it with external real-world signals, and run simulations to produce an independent probability estimate for each market question. The Service is a source of information and analysis only.
3. Not financial or betting advice
Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal, tax, or betting advice, or a solicitation or recommendation to enter into any transaction. Our probability estimates are opinions generated by models and may be inaccurate. You are solely responsible for any decision you make, and you assume all associated risk. 4. No trading through the Service
Second Opinion does not execute trades, hold funds, or place orders on any prediction market or exchange on your behalf. Any trading you choose to do happens directly with a third-party venue, subject to that venue's own terms, eligibility rules, and jurisdiction restrictions.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally permitted to use analytics tools of this kind to use the Service. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any restrictions on prediction-market participation in your location.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by scraping at scale, reverse-engineering the simulation engine, reselling our estimates without permission, interfering with the Service's operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, simulation methodology, calibration record, and design, is owned by Second Opinion and its licensors. Underlying market data belongs to the respective venues and data providers. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial analysis.
8. Third-party data and services
The Service relies on third-party market data and signal sources. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or terms of those third parties. We may show market data as-is and do not warrant it.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Second Opinion is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any losses arising from your reliance on our estimates or from any trading or financial decisions you make.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also terminate or restrict your access if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property and limitation of liability) will survive.
